Will my children miss out? Next month, will be in WDW for 3 days 4 nights. My 7 yr old & 8 yr old want to go to the Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, but if we go to this show we will not have time to go to Downtown Disney or Boardwalk for souvenirs.

Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel, Brenda.  I completely understand your dilemma, but if your kids really have their hearts set on attending Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show then I would choose that. I think your family will create so many special memories at the family-style luau featuring hula dancing and a fire-knife performer at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Although both Downtown Disney and Disney's Boardwalk are both great places to purchase souvenirs, you really can find some great things in the parks and the Disney Resorts.  The World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney is the largest Disney character store at Walt Disney World Resort, but you can find many of the items they carry throughout the Park and Resort gift shops. The Emporium in the Magic Kingdom and the gift shops at Disney's Contemporary Resort are two of my favorite shopping locations at Disney. After enjoying the Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, you can browse the gift shops at the Polynesian Resort and then take the Disney Monorail to visit the gift shops at Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. My family has dined at the Polynesian Resort before and then enjoyed a little Resort shopping before heading back to our room on many occasions!  What can be better than good food and good shopping all in the same evening? I hope this information helps in making your decision!  Best wishes for a Magical Trip!
    Happy Planning!
