My children are lactose intolerent, will I have access to soy milk or even lactose free milk for the resort refillable mugs? If not, and the resort carries these products, will I need to pay out of pocket for them? I am staying at POR, Thanks!!!

    Hi Elissa,

Milk is not one of the beverages available in the refillable mugs. You won't find any form of milk (other than coffee creamer) at the mug stations at all. The beverages that are available for the mugs include soda, coffee, hot tea, iced tea, and sometimes hot chocolate. There is usually something like lemonade or Powerade in the soda dispensers.

Soy milk is readily available in the refrigerator cases in the resort food courts. There are always single-serve containers of vanilla and chocolate soy milk, plus sometimes quart sized containers of these. Lactose free milk is not generally available.

You will have to pay for soy milk out of pocket, just like someone getting a carton of regular cow's milk would have to pay for that out of pocket. The only exception would be if you are getting the milk as part of your beverage entitlement at breakfast when paying with Disney Dining Plan credits.

Soy milk is available at most table service restaurants on property. You could get this included with the price of your meal at buffet and family-style prix fixe meals such as the character dining experiences.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
