Should children 2 and under be included in the table party for a dining reservation?

Hiya, Catherine! I'm so glad you've come to us with your question - especially since it concerns dining reservations. It gives me an excuse to go browse some menus and dream of my favorite Walt Disney World snacks and meals

When you make your reservations, please do include children 2 and under in the total count for your dining party. Even if you don't think an infant will need a high chair, all of the restaurants do have capacity limits, so a total per person count is important. It doesn't hurt to have a little extra elbow room around the table with little ones. I know when we take our grandchildren, even at Disney World, we have a table full of little toys or books to keep them entertained.

I hope you find some amazing meals for your family. While things look a little different than they have in the past, there are still awesome character dining experiences to be had. We ended up at Chef Mickey's twice on our last trip, since our grandkids had so much fun seeing their pal Mickey and his friends.

Enjoy every part of your upcoming visit, Catherine! And if there's anything else we can do to help you with your planning needs, come on back and see us!
