Hi Melody and welcome to
planDisney!
Being Mickey’s neighbor definitely has its perks. Did you know you can find
Special Offers for Georgia residents on Disney Resort Collection hotel stays a few times a year?
When it comes to Mouseketeers who are under the age of 18, using
tickets for Florida Residents, they must first be activated. You can only activate these tickets by showing
Proof of Florida Residency. If your children have government issued ID's that say they live in the state of Florida, they may use them to activate their tickets. If not, an adult needs to show their identification.
If the other parent purchases the tickets online and verifies their proof of residency for the children’s tickets while they are checking out, then your children can absolutely use them. (Those tickets can also be activated in person with proof at any theme park ticket window or the Disney Springs guest services location.)
It's super important to be able to activate those tickets. If they are not activated, they won’t be able to enter the theme parks.
Melody, once your tickets are squared away, you would also need to make
Disney Park Pass Reservations for the theme parks. It’s a really easy step!
I hope I’ve been able to help. Feel free to drop in to see us if you have any more planning questions. It’s always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next visit!
