Hello, my children and I are going to Disney during the week of 06/27/13 to 07/01/13 as a graduation present for my daughter. I wanted to know what the weather is like and my kids are not really into animals. They are 11 and 9. What theme parks to visit

    Hi Cheryl!

In late June the weather will definitely be hot and humid. Make sure to pack shorts, tanks and a bathing suit! Make sure you stay hydrated in the parks and drink plenty of water. You can also plan a day at one of the water parks to stay cool.

No worries if your kids aren't into animals, there are still plenty of fun things to do. Skip Animal Kingdom and spend time at Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios instead. Kids ages 11 and 9 will especially love Hollywood Studios because they have the Pixar characters, stunt shows, roller coasters and more. This is a great park for those who love movies and those who love thrills.

Magic Kingdom is a classic, and must not be missed. Your kids will especially love the new Fantasyland and Enchanted Tales with Belle.

At Epcot you can tour the World Showcase dine your way around the world. Kids especially love Club Cool where they can drink Coke from around the world.

    Magically,
