Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I remember traveling to Walt Disney World with my youngest when she was just a few months old and the
Baby Care Centers were so helpful. They offer areas to nurse or change a diaper, take a break from the heat, or purchase select baby care items.
There are Baby Care Centers located in all four parks. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios the Baby Care Center is located just to the left of the main entrance, near Guest Relations. You’ll find a private room with rocking chairs to nurse your little one. Know that you are also welcome to nurse your baby in the park wherever you feel comfortable. I found that many of the shows offered at Walt Disney World gave me an air-conditioned place to sit for a bit, and I would nurse the baby while my older child enjoyed the show. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios good options might be:
Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Muppet*Vision 3D, or
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.
It is a smart idea to be aware of the heat, and be sure to take breaks frequently. All of the shops and many attractions are air-conditioned, so perhaps plan your day around visiting air-conditioned attractions during the hottest part of the day. Be sure to drink plenty of water yourself to stay hydrated!
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Sarah. I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next week.
Have a Magical Day!
- Kate
