My 2 children and I are going to the Behind the Seeds tour in Epcot on our next trip in April, this is the first tour we are taking and I wondering if we are to tip our tour guide?

    Hi Meccan,

My husband and I just took this informative tour a few weeks ago. It was so interesting and fun that we can't wait to take our boys back and do it again. Your kids will love some of the cool facts and up close views of the plants, bugs and fish.

Although there are some Disney Cast Members who use tips as part of their wages (like housekeepers, valets and bellman) tips are not part of the tour experience. I was not sure of this and did offer on my first tip a few years ago. The Cast Member was honored at the offer but explained to me that they did not accept tips and our smiles were all they needed. A great idea that we have now begun to show our appreciation is to have our children make thank you cards before our Disney trips. We use colorful paper and Disney stickers to write out small notes. My boys like to hand these homemade notes out to Cast Members that have helped make our trip more magical. The Cast members are touched by our small token of appreciation.

    Hope you enjoy the tour!
