    Are children allowed to ride in the parade if you are chosen to be the grand Marshall?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

    Being chosen as the Grand Marshal at Walt Disney World Resort has always been a dream of mine! Every day, one or two lucky families are chosen at completely random to be the Grand Marshal of the afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom Park. A friend of mine was chosen to be the Grand Marshal and lead the Festival of Fantasy Parade and we still gush about how wonderful it was for her!

    The entire family, including children, will be able to ride with the Grand Marshal if they are chosen to do so. It is incredibly exciting seeing the Grand Marshal of the day leading the parade; you can see just how happy they are with smiling faces as they wave to the cheering crowd!
