I have 3 children ages 6, 9, 12. We r going to be spending about 4 days in the Orlando area, we are tyring to decide which parks will be best. We were definitely going to do the Magic Kingdom but we are trying to decide between Animal Kingdom or Universal?

Hi, Andrea!  You're asking a Disney Mom which park would be better to go to?  Let's just say I may be a little biased, but I'd definitely recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom.  It's one of my girls' favorite parks!

If you have thrill ride seekers, they'll love Expedition Everest or even Dinosaur.  My own seven year old would ride Kali River Rapids until park closing if we'd let her!  They all really enjoy It's Tough To Be a Bug, and the Kilimanjaro Safari is a must do on every trip.

There are shows, such as Festival of the Lion King, which I will argue rival some Broadway productions, and my kids all enjoy the many amazing animals and exhibits.  The day usually includes a trip to Rafiki's Planet Watch, where they can learn about conservation efforts and veterinary care of the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

We've been to that "other" theme park, but if given a choice, my girls choose Animal Kingdom.  There seems to be more there that we can all do and enjoy together.

Have a wonderful visit with your children!
