I have 3 children ages 1, 5, and 7, my husband and myself, and the grandparents. We have been to Disney 3 times but have never stayed at Disney. I am looking for a resort with some room and privacy and room. Can you suggest something? Thanks

I think staying on WDW property really adds to the magic of your vacation. The Disney accommodations that would give you the most privacy and space in one room would one of the Disney Vacation Club Villa resorts. These rooms can be found at the Beach Club, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, and Boardwalk hotels. The two bedroom villas sleep up to eight people (plus up to two more infants in cribs) and are great for multi-generational families. They consist of one bedroom with a king-sized bed and a large bathroom with a separate shower and jacuzzi tub, a second bedroom with two queen-sized beds and a second bathroom, a living room with a pull-out couch, and a full kitchen with major appliances, including a washer dryer.

Other than a few of the luxury suites at the deluxe resorts, the villas would be the only real on-site one-room option for a party of your size.

Another, probably less expensive, approach would to be to get connecting rooms or nearby rooms at any of the WDW hotels. You could also look into the Family Suites at the All Star Music resort. These rooms sleep up to six people in two separate rooms. Your family could book one of the suites while the grandparents booked another regular All Star room nearby.
