can children over the age of 13 order off the "children's" menu at sit down dining restaurants? Have some picky eaters that would not enjoy adult food, but rather chicken fingers, mac & cheese, etc...... thanks

    Hello Terry,

I wish I could say I don't relate but I do! Kids and picky eating can go hand in hand and I am sure many Guests can relate, when visiting Walt Disney World.  Children 10+ are consider adult age, when visiting Walt Disney World, and when dining at a Table-Service restaurant are asked to select items off the adult menu. But we know sometimes those options are not appetizing to them.

From my past experience, my daughter  has ordered off the children's menu and I have requested a larger portion, depending on the item, if possible. Our requests were met willing by the Cast Members and they simply up-charged the menu price to a reasonable adult price entree for us. Upon arrival to your Table-Service restaurant, make it known to your server, of your request, if you children can not seem to bring themselves to try a Mogador Fish Tagine, at Epcot's Restaurant Marrakesh, and would prefer a Child Kefta, also commonly known as a hamburger. It is their vacation, also, and with a little bit of Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust their appetites will be accommodated as well.

Happy dining at Walt Disney World and if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable moments.
