Hi, Cassie! Thanks for bringing your great question to us, and I'm more than happy to provide you with some information.
So, I'm guessing the childcare specialist services you're asking about would be through Kid's Nite Out. Their sitters have been providing
Hotel Childcare Services in the Orlando area since 1998, and are recognized by Disney. I've used their In-Room Sitter Services for my own child, and I can attest that the caregivers are professional and kind. I spoke with the director today about their "Parent's Helper" Service. The rates are the same as they would be for the In-Room Sitter. However, a Parent's Helper will need to have their theme park ticket(s) purchased for them, so you'll want to factor this into the cost. She suggested that when you call, talk to them about what your needs and priorities are. For example, some caregivers love taking care of babies while others enjoy the thrill of going on theme park attractions with older kids. It's always nice to have an extra helping hand to push those strollers or keep an eye on the kids in crowded situations, and I think this will give you the peace of mind to fully enjoy the day at the theme parks. For more information, visit their website at www.kidsniteout.com or call (800)696-8105.
Depending on the ages of your children, Cassie, you may be interested to know that Walt Disney World has
Baby Care Centers at all four of its theme parks. These are fantastic places to feed, nurse, or change your child, and they also offer an on-site shop with items such as baby food, diapers, over-the-counter medications, and clothing- and we all know this can be a life-saver sometimes!
Have a magical vacation, and stop back and see us again if we can offer you any more advice!
