Howdy Glee! Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
If you have visited Walt Disney World in the past, you may remember when Children's Activity Centers were available at select resorts. When my kids were little, they loved Lilo's Playhouse at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. My kids would beg me to go out so they could have a kids-only night playing games, making crafts, and watching movies at the clubhouse.
As you may be aware, there have been a few changes to the Disney parks and resorts to ensure the
health and safety of all Guests and Cast Members, and, unfortunately, the availability of the childcare centers is one of these. However, one option that is still currently available is Kid's Nite Out. This service, which is not directly affiliated with Walt Disney World, is available at all of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. You can find a listing of all of the services available and schedule your reservation online.
If you are going out for a date night sans kids, I would love to suggest a few romantic things to do. First, head over to the
Boardwalk to walk hand-in-hand with your loved one while watching the lights sparkle off of the water. Make an
Advanced Dining Reservation for a romantic dinner at
Trattoria al Forno. I highly recommend starting with the kale caesar salad and then indulging in the grilled swordfish salmoriglio. Afterward, dance the night away at
Atlantic Dance Hall or
Jellyrolls.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
