Hi Kanani! The
Children's Activity Centers at Walt Disney World allow parents to get away for a little adult time while the kids are kept entertained and happy. Kids ages 3 to 12 can check into one of the Centers located in the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Beach Club,
Dolphin, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Wilderness Lodge resorts. Although prices are always subject to change, the fee is $11.50 per child per hour, with a
two-hour minimum; the price does include dinner. Most of the child care centers are open
from 4:30 pm to midnight. For more information or to reserve spots for your
children, call 407-939-3463.
My children have tried the Sandcastle Club at the
Beach Club and the Never Land Club at the Polynesian. Personally, I thought the
Never Land Club looked like more fun, but my kids had a good time at both of
them. At the Neverland Club, they loved that they had to crawl through a window to enter. Once inside, they were thrilled to find a room of video game
machines, a foos-ball table, arts and crafts, and a dress-up area. They were
able to order dinner and watch a movie while they ate. I was very impressed with
the friendly, nurturing castmembers, and would highly recommend this child
activity center.
