If my child is 3 years old would I have to bring proof such as an ID so he can get in for free?

    Greetings Kimberly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're glad you stopped by with your question.

Guests ages 3 and older do require theme park admission at Walt Disney World Resort. You will not need to show proof of age for your son. Theme park tickets for  children ages 3- 9 are slightly discounted as compared to the adult tickets for Guests ages 10 and older. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel,  your little Mouseketeer will receive a complimentary MagicBand and will also be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan

As a mom of four,  I can tell you from firsthand experience your son is the perfect age to experience the magic of Disney. You will be amazed at just how "minnie" magical experiences await for Preschoolers.  That being said, consider bringing a stroller for your son as the amount of walking can be quite substantial for little ones.  Stroller rentals are also available at the theme parks and through private companies in the Orlando area.

I'm so sorry if this was not the news you were hoping to hEAR, but I hope you find this information to be helpful with your vacation planning. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip, Kimberly!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
