If your child turns 3 during the Disney trip they are still free as long as we checked in prior to them turning three; that is our understanding. Does that only apply if you stay onsite, or apply if we stay offsite too and get a park hopper pass? Thanks!

Hi Mugunthan!  Thanks for stopping by with your great question today.   I think celebrating a big third birthday at Walt Disney World will be nothing short of magical.   Make sure you stop by a Guest Service location on Disney property and get a birthday button for your child to wear for the day.   It's sure to send lots of smiles and well wishes your way.

To answer your question, if your child enters a theme park before his/her third birthday you will not need to buy a ticket for them for the duration of the trip.   However, if the birthday falls before the first day you plan to enter a park you would need to purchase a ticket for your little one.

I hope you have a terrific time on your Walt Disney World vacation, and please let us know when we can assist you again.
