If my child is 2 at the time of arrival but turns three in the middle of our visit, do we have to purchase a ticket for her? Or because she arrived at the age of two, she is treated as a two year old?

Happy New Year, Yasmeen! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today. Celebrating a birthday at Walt Disney World Resort is the most magical experience, and you are just in luck because even though your child will be turning three years old in the middle of your visit, she will be counted as a two-year-old based on your arrival date.

Speaking of birthdays, here are some magical tips I have used to celebrate my own daughter's birthday at Walt Disney World. First, start her special day with a character meal! The Crystal Palace at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park is one of our favorites, Winnie the Pooh and Friends are here and are so fun to meet. If your daughter is a big fan of princesses, Cinderella's Royal Table is a fan favorite. Speaking of turning three, has your daughter had her first haircut? My daughter had her special moment at Harmony Barber Shop when she was three years old. It was a magical experience, complete with pixie dust, a lock of hair, and a special pair of Mickey ears to take home. So fun!

Yasmeen, thanks for stopping by planDisney again with your question. At any time, feel free to send me any other questions on planning the most "practically perfect in every way" visit to Walt Disney World!
