Bright Suns, Christina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I had the opportunity to ride
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance last month, and without spoiling anything for you, I was left in awe and it quickly became one of my most favorite attractions! I'm so excited to hEAR your family will be traveling all the way to visit the planet Batuu for this exciting new adventure!
Using the
Rider Switch Service has saved my family so much time, and I love it when I see other families utilizing such an awesome service at
Walt Disney World Resort!
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance does participate in the Rider Switch Service, and it works pretty seamlessly along with the boarding groups. One adult does have the ability to arrange the boarding groups for your entire party, and I find it works best when one person signs the entire group up so you're all going around the same time. Upon your arrival at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, someone in your party will need to join a
boarding group using your
My Disney Experience Mobile app. You will be able to select the members of your party that will be coming with you, and since your mother may not want to ride, you do not need to check the box next to her name. During the time your boarding group is called to ride, go with your entire party to the greeting Cast Member at the queue, and let them know you'd like to participate in the Rider Switch Service. The first party will go in to ride, and then the second party of up to three Guests utilizing the Rider Switch Service will be eligible to ride.
Christina, I hope you and your family have an incredible adventure exploring
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! It's truly out of this world!
May the Force be with you all.
Aena
