Can a child send in a request for a character autograph or photo, and receive one. Thx from grandma nancy

Welcome to planDisney, Grandma Nancy! I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question. I can't think of anything more magical than interactions with our beloved Disney characters, so let's see what we can uncover before your next Walt Disney World Resort visit.

I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said you can contact Guest Services via email to ask for a specific character photo and autograph. You can send that request to guest.services@disneyworld.com, and I'll send pixie dust and an autograph pen so you'll get a response. While there's no guarantee the character of your dreams will be able to get back to you, I am confident they will try their hardest. If it were me, I'd request a photo from Mr. Smee because I think it would make him feel loved! But I've always had a soft spot for the villains.

I see your next visit is in December, so I suggest mentioning any favorite characters when you check in at the front desk of your Disney Resort Hotel. You never know when you'll get a magical Disney surprise like a fun postcard. And if you love the characters, you can see them wearing their holiday best at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park. This special ticketed event is available on select nights during the season, and little ones can interact with their favorites in a holly jolly setting.

Nancy, I think you're a fabulous grandmother. I suspect you might actually be a Fairy Godmother in disguise! Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll have some holiday fruit cake waiting!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
