Hi Bethany,
Welcome aboard planDisney! So glad you sailed by with your question.
I can imagine that a
Disney Cruise Line adventure with a 2-year old will be filled with so many magical moments! And Disney Cruise Line knows
how to help families make the most of their vacation.
Bethany, your little guy will go to
“it's a small world” nursery!, even if he is potty trained. Now, the nursery on all of the Disney ships is filled with enchantment of its own, especially for toddlers. Your son will be cared for by specially trained caregivers, which will give you peace of mind. And while you are
enjoying some adult time, your son will be having a great time exploring the interactive play area and enjoying crafts, games and story time. He will also delight in visits by special Disney Characters!
Remember, advanced reservations for the nursery are required. I recommend you make reservations prior to boarding because space is limited and is offered on a first-come-first-served basis. You may book your time slots once your booking window opens. Bethany, if you book an activity for yourself while your son is at the nursery, I suggest that you book his nursery time 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after your event to allow for time for him to settle in and give you time to arrive and return from your event.
Bethany, there is so much for
families with toddlers and preschoolers to enjoy on a Disney cruise! I hope your little guy gets to spend some time in your ship’s Splash Zone, and experience special events like Nursery Rhymes with Bo-Peep and Character meet-and-greets. Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you board for more experiences for young ones to enjoy!
Thanks for dropping anchor here at planDisney, Bethany. If you have other questions or need some planning advice, our cruise specialists
Adrianna and
Tracie are always here to help!
Wishing you calm seas and sunny skies,
Shannon
