Hi Kerrie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You’ve brought us a very important question and you will be happy to know that the Walt Disney World Resort does everything to make sure all guests, regardless of any food allergies, have plenty of delicious foods to enjoy while dining at any of the restaurants.
Fear not, your child will able to eat at any type of restaurant on the Walt Disney World property. There are just a few precautions you should take before you sit down for your meal that will ensure a seamless, fun and unforgettable experience.
- You can start making your
dining reservations 180 days before your visit. When making your reservation online, make sure to make a note of all food allergies. You can also speak to a Cast Member by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
-Let the Cast Member or server know about your child’s allergies when you sit down at your table. Many restaurants offer an allergy friendly menu.
-Review the information for
Special Dietary Requests or email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com and let them know about your child’s specific food allergies so they can be noted on your reservation.
When dining at a table service restaurant, a chef will greet you at your table to talk with you and your child about the options available. They try to make it a one-on-one experience to make sure you know your dietary needs are being met. How excited will your child feel to know a Disney chef will be making a special dish just for them!
Kerrie, I hope you all enjoy your magical visit! Feel free to come back with any other questions you may have!
