My child is 11 on the first day of our 3-day Disneyland Paris visit and turns 12 on day 2. Can we use a child ticket for all 3 days, or is an adult ticket required after the birthday?

Bonjour, Heiko, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m delighted to be helping you plan your child’s birthday trip to Disneyland Paris… let the memories begin!

It won’t be long until you’re stepping through the park gates and gazing up at Sleeping Beauty Castle, so let’s dive straight into your question.

Children aged 3-11 years old can enter Disneyland Paris with a special-priced ticket, and those aged 12+ must have an adult ticket to enter the parks. As your child is celebrating their birthday at Disneyland Paris, they will need an adult ticket for the days that they are 12.

I recommend taking a look at the Hotel + Ticket Packages alongside ticket-only options, as these packages offer fantastic value and include extra sprinkles of pixie dust like Extra Magic Time each morning in the parks. My family loves the unique theming and magical atmosphere of the Disney Hotels.

I’m a big fan of celebrating birthdays at the Disney parks! Don’t forget to stop by Guest Services for a birthday button or order a celebration cake with your meal!

Top Tip: Character Dining is a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday to remember. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet all of your favourite Disney pals in one place, while enjoying a feast fit for royalty.

On behalf of planDisney, I’d like to wish your child a very happy 12th birthday when the time comes. I hope you have the most wonderful time celebrating.

If you have any more questions, stop by and see me anytime at planDisney.

    Magic Awaits,
