    Hello I have a child with autism and some developmental delays how do y’all accommodate children with disabilities? I want this to be a good experience for him and one he will enjoy

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy to hEAR you will be sailing with Captain Mickey!  My family loves to cruise with Disney Cruise Line because of how inclusive the cast and crew members are and the efforts they make to ensure every guest enjoys their time onboard.

    Disney Cruise Line takes the time to understand and make special accommodations for guests with Autism onboard.  From making adjustments to the embarkation and debarkation process to helping find the most comfortable ways to participate in everything from the required assembly drill to the Broadway caliber shows in the theater, Disney Cruise Line can help make sure your pirate-in-training experiences nothing but smooth sailing.

    To discuss your pirate's needs and any concerns you may have, I would encourage you to reach out to the Disney Cruise Line Special Services team prior to your sailing.  This team specializes in helping guests who may need a little extra pixie dust while onboard.  You can reach them at (407)-566-3602.

    Be sure to watch for special onboard activities on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App that your pirate-in-training may enjoy like the family friendly movie screenings in the Buena Vista Theater.  During these special screenings of first run movies, the lights are kept on and kids of all ages are encouraged to sing along and dance in the aisles, without the fear of disturbing any other movie-goers!
