First of all, a big congratulations on your upcoming engagement! This is such an exciting new chapter for you and your girlfriend, and I'm honored to help you add some extra magic to your story. Now let's plan a proposal that would make a bookish princess proud!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is an incredible place for a proposal. Just one step inside and you feel totally immersed in a tale as old as time! In case you missed it, Be Our Guest is divided into three rooms: The Rose Gallery, the mysterious West Wing, and the absolutely iconic Grand Ballroom. Unsurprisingly, all of the rooms are as swoonworthy as Belle's golden ballgown. But with its stunning picture window and sparkling chandeliers, my personal favorite is the Grand Ballroom - and it just so happens that this is also the room I'd recommend for a romantic fairytale proposal!
Now, I should note that you can't officially request a specific room to dine in. However, my family has had pretty good luck with getting our favorite room, just by speaking with the Disney Cast Member at check-in. Let them know that you are willing to wait a little longer for an extra-special table for your extra-special night. Of course, requests like this can never be guaranteed, but in my experience, Cast Members are always happy to help where they can!
Since this is such a momentous occasion, I also recommend checking in for your reservation through your
My Disney Experience app. When you do, you'll have the option to tell them that you're celebrating a special occasion. My family has celebrated lots of magical moments in Walt Disney World, and noting that on our reservations
usually results in a bit of extra pixie dust!
