If we have a Chef Mickey's breakfast reservation for 7am...is it realistic thinking to be at Magic Kingdom when park opens?

Hey, there! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebeckal! How exciting that you have a trip coming up so soon and a breakfast reservation with the Fab Five!

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's on our last morning at Walt Disney World is my family's tradition. We love having some quality time for photos and autographs with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Goofy (*character appearances are subject to change without prior notice). We always try and book a 7:00 a.m. breakfast because, just like you, we want to enjoy a hearty breakfast and then head over to the Magic Kingdom Park after eating. Arriving at the theme park before 9:00 am that day is feasible, but it will depend on how much everyone loves the food and ambiance at the restaurant ( and to be completely honest, I am sure they will!)

Keep in mind that once you arrive and check in at the podium it might take up to a few minutes to be called on to get your iconic picture. Then, you will have to wait a few more minutes to be seated. Once you have been assigned a spot, your server will begin to bring your juices and coffee. You may begin your rounds to the buffet and maybe when you come back to your table you will receive the visit of the first character followed by more and more!

Once everyone is finished, your family will begin their exit towards Disney's Contemporary Resort entrance and then follow the walkway to Magic Kingdom Park, which should take about ten minutes.

Rebecka, thank you for visiting us. I hope the information above is helpful in your planning. I wish you a memorable time at Chef Mickey's and a marvelous trip with your family!

    See you real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
