    We have Chef Mickey's ADR for breakfast on 1/1/13 at 7:10 a.m. When I printed out my reservation I noticed it says (does not include characters). Are they not having character's at Chef Mickey's on New Year's Day this year? Just concerned! :S

    I'd be concerned if I got that message too, Chef Mickey's is ALL about the characters. And I've never been to Chef Mickey's when characters weren't there, even on holidays.

    I think you've encountered a computer error. I called the Disney Dining phone line (407-WDW-DINE) and confirmed with them that there the regular character line-up is scheduled to be in attendance on New Year's Day. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, you can expect to get a nice big hug from Mickey to get your 2013 off to a wonderful start.
