Can we get a Chef Mickey stuffed animal signed by Mickey at our Chef Mickey breakfast during our reservation next month?

    Hiya Kate,

Welcome to planDisney. It won't be much longer now until you are on the way to The World's Most Magical Celebration. Did you know that an added bonus is you will be there in time to enjoy the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? You and your taste buds can nibble and sip your way around The World Showcase enjoying food and beverage options from six continents. Be sure to come hungry as it is hard to pick a favorite!

I was thrilled when character dining made its return. Even my "not so little anymore" boys love visiting with some of their favorite Disney pals while enjoying a delicious meal. Plus, I love the opportunity to capture some great family photos with the Disney characters. Of course, what Walt Disney World Resort vacation is complete without seeing Mickey Mouse and a meal at Chef Mickey's is the perfect place for that! This all you can eat breakfast or dinner buffet, located inside Disney's Contemporary Resort, includes time with Mickey and his favorite pals. The great news is character autographs and hugs have now returned and you will be able to ask the Disney pals for their signatures as well as a big 'ole hug.

One thought however, while the Disney pals can sign a long list of items (like autograph books, pillows, hats and pictures) you will want to make sure there is ample space for his signature. Occasionally, it can be a challenge for Mickey, and other Disney pals, to sign small items or in a limited space. You will also want to make sure you have a marker or pen that will show up on the plush so you can enjoy the signature for years to come. During one of our recent visits, I saw a Guest using wooden ornaments for the Disney characters to sign. She told me that she adds the date of the visit to the back and then shellacs the ornaments when she returns home. They like adding them to their tree as reminders of their magical adventures. What a cool idea!

Wishing you all a magical time. If I can help with any additional planning help, please stop back and see me.

    With pixie dust,
    Margaret
