Hiya, Kimberly! Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question today!
Character dining is one of my favorite ways to spend time with my favorite Disney pals - no lines to wait in, just good food, one-on-one visits that don't feel rushed, and time to relax, recharge, and unwind with family!
Kimberly,
Chef Mickey's is a great choice for breakfast or dinner! Each mealtime features a buffet-style meal with tableside visits from Chef Mickey and his pals Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Pluto (characters are subject to change). If you book a breakfast reservation at 12 PM, you will still be able to see the characters during your meal, and I promise you won't be rushed or miss out on any of the magical moments with them! In fact, I prefer to book character brunches for closer to closing time because we often feel like it is less crowded and the characters often make extra rounds to ensure everyone gets their share of hugs, high-fives, and autographs! Not to mention, the breakfast price is a little more budget-friendly and a later breakfast seating usually holds us over until dinnertime!
The other thing I love about Chef Mickey's is its proximity to Magic Kingdom Park! You can easily start your morning in the theme park and then walk or catch the monorail over to
Disney's Contemporary Resort for your meal before heading back to the park or using
complimentary resort transportation if you're headed to another destination! If you're arriving from another Disney Resort hotel, you can hop onboard a bus to Magic Kingdom and then walk over to the Contemporary for your meal!
I hope this helps, Kimberly! Since you are within your booking window now, be sure to secure your reservation as soon as possible to ensure you don't miss out! You can always modify it or cancel later without a penalty if you change your plans! If you have any other planning questions before your visit,
planDisney is always here with a sprinkle of pixie dust to help you out! Come see us again anytime!
Magic Awaits,
Alison
