All the chef mickey character dining is taken. Can you walk up and get seated or do you have to make reservations. I don't mind waiting cause my child really wants to see Mickey Mouse.

    Hi David,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am sorry to hear you have not been able to secure a reservation for Chef Mickey's. While reservations are suggested for this popular character dining experience, you can certainly walk up to ask for a table. There may be a bit of a wait, but there is plenty to see on the main concourse of Disney's Contemporary Resort where Chef Mickey's is located. My boys always enjoy watching the Monorail go by and there are even a few shops you can browse through.

I would suggest calling (407) WDW-DINE when you are in the Orlando area. Oftentimes guests cancel their reservations so you may be able to secure a reservation during your visit. Mickey can also be found throughout Walt Disney World Resort. My favorite place to meet Mickey Mouse is at Town Square Theater at the Magic Kingdom. Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions before your fall visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
