Checkout is at 11am but I have reservations for Chef Mikey, can I leave my bags at the resort and pick them up after breakfast?

Hiya, Sharlene, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit is a heartbeat away, so I hope your Minnie ears are securely packed. The word "checkout" always makes me sad, but your reservation at Chef Mickey's eases the sting of leaving the magic. What a great note to end your trip on. Let's look at where you can stow your luggage while you meet the big guy.

Disney Resort Hotels offer luggage holding through Bell Services, so you can leave your bags there while you enjoy your character meal. The luggage attendant will tag your bags and give you a claim check, so my tip is to snap a photo of that tag so you don't have to dig for it or worry about losing it. After your meal, you can head back to Bell Services to retrieve your items. There's no charge for this service, but I typically tip the Cast Members. I also want to let you know that this service is subject to space availability, but I feel certain they will do their best to accommodate you.

Chef Mickey's is a festive spot at Disney's Contemporary Resort where you can eat and meet fabulous characters. Chef Mickey and his pals will come by your table for autographs, so have your camera ready to snap photos. Be sure to look for Chef Minnie at a special PhotoPass opportunity at the end of your meal! And don't worry if the line seems long; it moves quickly, and it is worth it to hug Minnie.

Sharlene, I hope your upcoming visit is full of delicious meals and warm embraces. Please stop by planDisney anytime. Bon appétit!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
