    I will be checking in to All Star Movies the first week of February. Is the room refurbishment complete throughout the resort as I am hoping for a new room! Thanks so much!

    Hi Stacey,

    Thank you for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about your upcoming stay at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.  I completely understand why you are hoping to be assigned a refurbished room.  I recently stayed in a similarly refurbished room at Disney's Pop Century Resort and I really liked the fresh, modern decor.

    It is my understanding that as I write this in January 2019 the room refurbishment at All-Star Movies is not yet complete.  Renovated rooms are available in the Toy Story, Love Bug, and part of the Fantasia sections of the resort.  I suggest requesting one of these areas when you complete the online check-in.  You may also call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservation line and ask for your request to be noted.  Keep in mind that many of these rooms are in the Preferred sections, which are closer to the main Classic Hall building.  If you have reserved a Preferred room, I would request the Toy Story section.  If you have reserved a Standard room, then I suggest requesting the Love Bug section.  Remember requests for particular rooms or sections are not guaranteed.

    There is so much that is new for you to enjoy on your upcoming vacation!  Have a wonderful trip.
