Welcome to planDisney, Shelly! We are glad you stopped by with your question today.
Guests may make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of their visit. For Guests who will be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or other select hotels, dining reservations may be made 60 days in advance of their check-in date for the length of their stay, up to 10 days.
If you will be checking in on October 29, then you are correct that you'll be able to make dining reservations for your stay beginning on August 30th. Be sure you have
linked your resort reservation to your My Disney Experience account and are signed in when making reservations so you can view dining availability for your entire trip (up to 10 days from your arrival date).
Dining reservations typically open at 5:45 am ET each day, although I have found that sometimes availability for select locations doesn't show up until 6:00 am or so. Guests are encouraged to
make dining reservations online or through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, use the plus button at the bottom of the home screen to "Check Dining Availability".
Bonus tip: For some of the most popular dining locations, you might find reservation times are limited. Try searching for availability towards the end of your trip first. Fewer Guests will have had access to those dates, making your chances of finding a table higher.
Shelly, if you'd like dining recommendations or have any other questions, please feel free to visit planDisney again anytime. We are always happy to help.
