Hi Norma! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up soon! I'm sure you want to have all your plans squared away in advance of your arrival.
Memory Maker is not tied to a particular Resort Hotel reservation or admission ticket. The
Memory Maker entitlement is activated when you download your first
Disney PhotoPass photo. You will then have a
30-day window in which to capture more photos. You may choose to begin downloading as soon as you have photos linked to your
My Disney Experience account, or you can wait until after your vacation and download them all at once.
So the short answer is YES, you may have Disney PhotoPass photos taken whenever and wherever you like; your
Memory Maker allows you unlimited downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos captured within the Memory Maker window. It is up to you when you would like to
begin downloading your photos (before they
expire, generally 45 days after capture). Since you will already have your
MagicBands, the photographer will simply scan your bands to link your photos to your account.
Have you heard about some of
the newest Disney PhotoPass videos? I've seen videos that some of my Moms Panel friends shared during their recent visits. Super cool! I can't wait to try these out on my next vacation.
I hope that helps! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again anytime. Have a wonderful visit!
