Welcome to planDisney, Meg!
You are going enjoy your stay at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Not only will you be vacationing at The Most Magical Place On Earth, but you will also feel like you’ve arrived in Motunui.
After speaking with a friendly Cast Member on your behalf, I understand that Guests of the Polynesian Resort can access the gym at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I would double-check with the front desk upon arrival to confirm this, and I would also confirm that the walking path connecting the two resorts is open. As the
Disney Vacation Club expands its portfolio, construction may impact your ability to walk along Seven Seas Lagoon to your workout.
If you can’t access the gym, Meg, Hakuna Matata, you will get plenty of steps while visiting the Theme Parks. On my last trip, I walked an average of over 10 miles daily! Talk about earning that DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai and Tonga Toast from
Kona Cafe!
Since you are staying at the Polynesian, I recommend enjoying
Happily Ever After at least once from your resort's beach. Disney pipes in the music from the Magic Kingdom and has tiki torches lining the sand. It truly is a magical way to take in the fireworks show!
I hope you have a fantastic vacation, Meg! If you have any other questions,
ask away!
