Does checking in online hurt or help when looking for a possible upgrade in rooms?

Hi, Matt!  It is still possible to be sprinkled with that Disney magic with a surprise upgrade, even if you do online check in.  I want to say, however, that room upgrades are definitely not the normal course of events, but it doesn't hurt to do online check in.

Many upgrades are done for operational reasons, and there is often some advance knowledge of those types of events occurring.  So in that case, checking in online should have no influence over whether or not an upgrade may be offered.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you find some of that pixie dust!
