Ahoy, there Warren,
Welcome aboard planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by with your
Disney Cruise Line holiday question. You are wise to plan ahead to make the
Online Check-In process smooth sailing, so let’s get underway!
The Online Check-In time is determined by your
Castaway Club membership level. If this is your first Disney Cruise Line sailing, your check-in is 30 days prior to your embarkation. When the day arrives, log into your
Disney Cruise Line account to navigate to the
Already Booked tab and then Online Check-In. Once there, you simply follow the prompts. One thing to note, you don’t have to finish the process in one sitting as the system will save your progress until you complete it.
Now, for documentation, be sure to check the
Required Citizenship Documents for your country and itinerary prior to check-in. For check-in, you will need a photo of each Guest’s passport “picture page,” including the photo and details of your passport (and entry visa, if required). You will also need to provide a photo of each traveler’s face for security and identification purposes aboard the ship. I usually just snap a picture on my phone of each traveler so it will quickly upload to the website. Finally, if you plan to pay your
Onboard Account with a credit card, you will need payment information.
Remember, you will need to bring your
actual passport (including entry visa, if required) with you in order to board the ship. Make sure your passports aren't expired or about to expire. Many countries require your passport to be valid up to 3 months after the completion of your cruise.
Warren, if you haven’t already, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. This handy tool offers you a magical way to keep track of all your cruise details, including activities and your account information, and complete the Online Check-In process easily and efficiently!
I hope this information has set you on a clear course for your cruise. Please sail by any time with other questions!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
