We are checking out of a hotel (non Disney) and getting a ride to the Movies resort, we wanted to go to Disney spring for the day but didn’t realize check in was 3pm, will they hold our bags somewhere so we can either enjoy the pool or DS?

    Welcome, Mandi!

Disney makes it so easy for guests to dive right into the magic the moment they arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. My family and I always book our flights to arrive as early as possible in the morning so we can enjoy a full day that first day. So, when we arrive at our Disney resort, we're usually there well ahead of check-in time. Often, we've been pleased to find that our room is already ready for us. However, when it wasn't quite ready, we've simply left our bags with Bell Services in the lobby and then we keep a day bag to head out to either go straight to the parks or dive into the pool. Catching Disney's transportation over to Disney Springs is another excellent way to spend that first day before your resort room is ready.

So, don't wait to arrive later just because check-in isn't officially until 3:00 p.m. The Cast Members are more than accommodating for early arriving guests, so you'll be all set. When you return to the resort and find your room ready, you can either pick up your own luggage at Bell Services or have it delivered to your room. Be sure to have a few dollars per bag ready, as it is traditional to tip Bell Services for storing or delivering your luggage.

I hope that helps you to know that the magic of your Disney vacation can begin the moment you arrive, Mandi!

    Have so much fun!
