Just checking, first cruise, we are staying on Disney property and then transfers arranged to the Dream. On my cruise reservations it says we welcome aboard @3:45, sail away @4:15.This timeline seems tight to me, no time for lunch or finding our way around

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

I am glad you cruised by with another great question about your very first cruise onboard the Disney Dream!  I bet the excitement is building as you have arrived at your advance booking window and start your online check-in!

The welcome aboard and sail away times are specific to your itinerary and refer to events taking place onboard for all guests.  The Sailing Away Deck Party is a kickoff celebration to jump start your high seas adventure.  This is a real party at sea with great music, dancing and of course all of your favorite Disney characters!

During your online check-in process, you will select a port arrival time.  Your port arrival time will specify when you should arrive at the cruise terminal to check in with Disney Cast Members and queue to board the ship.  Port arrival times usually are late morning or early afternoon to allow you time to step onboard the ship, grab a bite to eat at Cabanas and settle in to your stateroom once it is available.

Sail on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you continue to plan your high seas adventure!

    Bon voyage!  Angie
