Hiya Al!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, a group of Disney enthusiasts eager to help you make the most out of your vacations. I’m so glad that you brought your question here, and it would be my pleasure to help find an answer for you. The reopening of
Disneyland Resort is like a dream come true, and you lucky Californians are the first to have the chance to return to the magic.
Upon the reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. Park attendance is managed through a new
theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a park reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required.
The date on your theme park ticket provides you with valid admission on that specific date, but you will still need to make a
theme park reservation. You can check the
Theme Park Availability calendar to ensure the date you selected is still available for reservations. If the date you selected is not available or you decide to visit on another date, you will first need to change the date on your theme park ticket. You will then be able to make a new
theme park reservation.
I hope this information helps get you on your way to returning to the magic of
The Happiest Place on Earth! Please stop back by
planDisney if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
