Hi Nancy!
It’s so great to see you back here at planDisney! We almost always do split stays during our Disney vacations, so I’m happy to help.
When it comes to
Advanced Dining Reservations, you will actually have two separate booking windows. Your first booking window will open at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to your check-in date for
the cabins. And your second booking window will open at 6 AM Eastern, 60 days prior to your check-in date for the
Yacht Club.
Make sure to double-check my dates here, but it looks like your first booking window will open on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, and the second one will open on Thursday, May 8, 2025.
During each booking window, you can reserve dining for your entire length of stay. Since your first length of stay is one night, you’ll be able to book dining for the first and second days of your trip. When your second booking window opens the next day, you’ll be able to book dining for the rest of your trip.
If you want to avoid waking up two mornings in a row, I’d just wait until the second booking window opens! But if you’re hoping to dine at a popular restaurant on the first or second day of your trip, it would be worth trying to reserve that restaurant when your first booking window opens.
Now, before I let you go, I do want to point out that
purchasing and booking Lightning Lane services will work a bit differently than Advanced Dining Reservations (if you decide that you want to purchase Lightning Lanes, of course!).
Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date for the cabins. At that time, you should be able to book Lightning Lanes for your entire vacation, even though you’ll be staying at two separate resorts. You will not have two different booking windows like you do with dining reservations.
Hopefully that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
