Welcome aboard, Debra! Your cruise must be getting close!
I'm not sure if you are asking about online check-in or check-in at the port terminal, so I'll tell you about both. Online check-in begins 75 days prior to sailing for first time Disney cruisers, and 90 or more days prior depending on club level for Castaway Club members: those who have sailed with Disney before. Since the Castaway Club members can begin online check-in before you, you'll want to be sure you log in as soon as you're able at that 75 day mark to begin. Why? Well, besides actually checking in for the cruise and providing details about arrival, you'll also get to begin booking fun extras like
Port Adventures and certain specialty
character events, most of which have limited availability. Once in your reservation, click on
My Cruise Activities and choose adventures and other special experiences for each day of the voyage. You will not pay for the Port Adventures or anything that carries an additional fee at that time. It will be billed to your stateroom onboard. You'll also get to choose a
Port Arrival Time from available remaining options. Choose the time slot that is closest to when you plan to arrive at port, and then complete any other details required about your family information and you'll be all set. It's super easy and walks you through every step of the process.
Once the big day arrives, plan to arrive during your Port Arrival Time window. Check your bags at the curb, then check in at the desk inside the terminal to begin your cruise! You'll then be given a boarding number and once it is called, your family will board the ship to the applause of Cast Members! Have fun planning, Debra!
