I've checked out the pricing of port excursions, but aside from those, how much money should I budget on a cruise? What is not included?

Welcome aboard, Kim! There is so much value in a Disney cruise! You'll be surprised at how much is already included in the cost of your cruise fare! From date nights to dazzling entertainment, you've got so much to look forward to!

Besides Port Adventures, there are a few other extras that you might want to consider. Adult Exclusive dining is wonderful! Palo is my favorite and though there is an extra cost, I promise this amazing meal and romantic atmosphere are worth every penny. Spa treatments are another worthwhile extra. I had an wonderful massage at Senses last time I was onboard, and I've also enjoyed the Rainforest Room pass quite a few times!

Alcoholic beverages and certain other specialty drinks do cost extra as well, but your food and other drinks are all included! You will not go hungry onboard one of Disney's ships, that's for sure!

Finally, be sure to budget for the traditional cruise tips. The following are the traditional gratuities, per person (including kids), per night of the cruise:
    Stateroom Host: $4
    Server: $4
    Assistant Server: $3
    Head Server: $1
That comes to $12 per person (including kids) per night of your sailing, and this is either pre-paid or charged to your stateroom account. You are more than welcome to add additional gratuities, as I promise that you will receive the best service ever from these Cast Members, and my family always likes to thank them by tipping a bit over that traditional amount.

You might also want to have some singles on hand in your stateroom to tip the Cast Member who delivers any of the complimentary room service you may order. This is the only time you'd need cash onboard! It's traditional to tip guides on Port Adventures as well.

    Have fun planning, Kim!
