Have you checked out @ the Animal Kingdom The River of Lights ? Is it worth the wait for the 15 min. show. Thank you

    Dear Janice,

Thanks for reaching out with your question about the beautiful new Rivers of Light nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom

I just recently had the opportunity to view the show and I definitely would say that it's worth the wait. It's not your typical fireworks spectacular since that would frighten the animals nearby, but it's visually beautiful, colorful, and peaceful. The wait passed by quickly in the dusk overlooking the calm waters and light displays across lake, and there's a beverage vendor there if anyone in your party needs a quick drink before the show. A 9 year-old in our party found that a lemon-lime soda made the time pass much more speedily.

Additionally, have you considered a Rivers of Light dining package? You can choose from different restaurant and meal options, and you will receive premium seating for the nighttime show.

Have a magical time with your planning!
