How do we check in for the Villain’s after hours event? I’m worried we will accidentally use one of our park passes. Is there a separate check in?

Hi, Lindsay! Thanks for stopping by today with your question! The Disney After Hours events are so incredibly fun, but the Villains-themed one at Magic Kingdom Park has to be the most intriguing one yet! Not only can you meet lots of your favorite Disney Villains across the park, but you will also be able to enjoy some event-exclusive treats and merchandise, ghoulishly fun entertainment, and hours of wicked fun on many of your favorite attractions. Oh, how it's good to be bad! I am so glad you were able to purchase your tickets to the event early, as it has been quite popular guests this summer.

When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you will notice that some of the park's entrance points will be designated as event entrances. As the witching hour approaches to begin Disney Villains After Hours, Cast Members will begin allowing guests to scan their MagicBands or other ticketing media through those admission points. As long as you have your event ticket linked to whatever you scan, then the system will check for that event ticket and use its admission entitlement, not an admission from your regular Disney Theme Park Ticket. If it helps ease your mind, you will notice Cast Members wearing plaid and holding mobile devices in that immediate area past the scanning point who can scan to make sure the event ticket was used. Be sure to have your armband that signifies you are attending the event placed before you leave that area!

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
