It must be the season for dreaming about Disneyland Resort vacations because I was just talking with my
pal Leslie about this exact topic. Like you, I’ve been keeping my eye on a cozy winter getaway to the Disneyland Resort, and counting down until those dates appear can feel a bit like waiting for your favorite Disney parade to round the corner!
Based on what I’ve seen in previous years,
availability for the following year usually begins appearing in late summer. If that pattern holds, I’d start watching around mid to late August. Sometimes planning a Disney vacation requires a little faith, trust, and pixie dust while all the pieces come together!
Once those dates become available, you'll want to head over to the Disneyland website and hover over Places to Stay. From there, you can choose View All Hotels to see Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel side by side. If your heart is already set on the
Disneyland Hotel, you can click directly into the Disneyland Hotel page and select Check Availability.
You'll then enter your travel dates, the number of Guests in your party, and any other room preferences you'd like to include. After you hit search, the available room types for your selected dates will appear, making it easy to see which magical options are ready to welcome you home for your vacation.

Disney Parks Blog for news about any possible special savings, and the
Foodie Guide for Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park, which will be updated for 2027 before the start of the festival! It’s an special event that can warm up even the chilliest winter day, truly one of my favorites!
