When we check in online do we list an onshore emergency contact or can it be someone onboard with us?

Ahoy there, Judy! Welcome aboard planDisney, where we set sail in search of answers to your Disney vacation questions. It looks like your Disney Cruise Line vacation is just around the riverbend with a sailing next month. It is my pleasure to assist you with the finishing touches on your cruise plans and preparations before your magical vacation begins.

Online check-in for Disney Cruise Line begins 30 days before your sail date, or sooner, depending on your Castaway Club status. When the time comes to check in, have your travel documents, emergency contact information, and security photo ready to streamline the process. When you complete your online check-in, you will be able to select your Port Arrival Time and print the information you need to bring with you to the port.

Listing an Emergency Contact is an important step in the online check-in process. Of course, we always hope for smooth seas, but it is important to be prepared in case of an emergency. You will want to list someone onshore and not traveling with your party as your emergency contact. In case of an emergency that involves your entire travel party, you will need your emergency contact to be someone on shore.

I hope this information helps you prepare for your upcoming cruise on Disney Cruise Line, Judy. Have a magical sailing and a wonderful vacation. If we can answer more of your questions, please bring them here to us at planDisney. We love helping our Pals experience the most magical vacation possible.

    Happy Sailing!
