If we check my husbands insulin into the first aid center am I able to take it out an any time to take with us to the different restaurants and can it be kept in it's carrying case or will you only accept the pens and needle caps

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your husband can absolutely store his insulin at the First Aid center in any of the four theme parks or water parks during your visit and can come by as often as he needs to during park hours. There is only one glucometer in each park so you'll want to be sure your husband has his own on hand to test his blood sugar. If he uses a syringe in the bathroom in any of the restaurants, he'll need to dispose of the syringe in a Sharps container if available. If there is not one located in the bathroom, he'll need to secure it in a portable container or a cup with a lid to return it back to First Aid. It's important to note that the theme parks only have one First Aid center per park.

Jennifer, as your trip draws closer, I suggest reaching out to one of the First Aid centers located in any of the theme parks if you have any concerns about your visit. You can call (407) 939-2273 and ask to be connected.

We are so glad you stopped by with this important question!

    Have a magical day!
