    Do we have to check into our hotel before we go to the parks on the day we arrive? We have magic bands. Half our party has a room/ticket package and the other half has room only with tickets purchased separately.

    It sounds like your group is ready to head straight to the magic once you arrive at Walt Disney World, and I can't say I blame you.  I always bounce around like Tigger when I arrive on-site for my vacations. I hope y'all have a terrific time.

    Stephanie, your tickets will be ready for use the minute you arrive at Walt Disney World.   The only reason you would need to stop by your Disney Resort hotel would be if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, or you would like to charge purchases to your Resort account using your MagicBand.   These features can be quickly authorized by a Cast Member at the front desk of your Resort.
