Hello. If i check in to the disney resport on a saturday but would like to go to the park the Friday before, can i change the start date of my ticket?

Hi there, Anna Marie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Walt Disney World Resort recently moved to a date-based ticket system that allows Guests to purchase their tickets based on when they are planning on visiting. This structure allows Walt Disney World Resort to better distribute attendance across the year and, ultimately, assists in providing a better Guest experience for all those that travel to this magical land!

That being said, sometimes plans change! Personally, I have had to change my family's vacation plans last minute on multiple occasions so I definitively know how important it can be to make changes to your park tickets! For the majority of tickets, you can actually modify your entry date right through the My Disney Experience website! If you would prefer to make changes over the phone, you can do so by calling the Disney Reservation Center and speaking with a Cast Member. Just be sure to make your changes prior to the previously identified ticket date! If tickets are not changed before this time, you will not be able to alter your entry date.

I hope this has answered your question! Please let us know if we can provide you with any further information for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
