Can I check into a Disney hotel the day before I have tickets to the park?

    Hiya Kristin!

I love that you’re staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! Staying in the magic is my favorite part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thanks to the incredibly helpful Cast Members, proximity to the theme parks, and whimsically themed resorts, my family loves staying at Disney Resort hotels. I know when leaving the theme parks, I won’t be leaving the magic.

Kristin, as long as you have a room reservation for the day you’re checking in, you do not need a theme park ticket. In fact, my family has enjoyed Disney Resort hotel-only vacations where we didn’t step foot inside a theme park and simply enjoyed the amenities offered at our Disney Resort hotel! If you need to add a night to your booking, you can do this by modifying your reservation located under My Plans in your My Disney Experience account, or you can call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, and a friendly Cast Member will be happy to assist you.

Did you know Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels get to enjoy Early Theme Park Entry? This means you would be eligible to enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before the official park opening! Please check park Operating Hours as hours are subject to change.

We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Kristin! Have an enchanting visit.
